Holy Cross Academy, a Pre-K – 8th grade coed Catholic day school of 490 students in beautiful, historic Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking a full time middle school history teacher beginning August 12, 2024. HCA is the parish school of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in the Diocese of Arlington. Each of our middle school teachers are subject specialists. The position involves teaching 2 world history courses to 6th graders, 2 American History Year One courses to 7th graders, and 2 American History Year Two courses to 8th graders. The ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic, hold an active middle school history teaching certificate, and have middle school classroom teaching experience.
